I tried this Beet Ginger Liver Cleanse Juice at my local Wholefoods. It was a random choice. I was not really looking to cleanse my liver but I was fascinated with the beetroot. Never tasted it raw before. I know everyone is raving about its goodness and all, but I was skeptical. The only form in which I can have this wonder vegetable is either as Beetroot Cutlets (That reminds me, I need to write up a post on that) or in fried rice.
I admire the rich and amazing color this holds but again, never dared to try it raw. Its not that I don’t like my juices or smoothies to be healthy..I do I do.., but then it gotta taste good, right? see, this Mango-Strawberry-Turmeric Smoothie or even the Pear Ginger Honey Mocktail are sooooo yum, right?….Until, I tasted this Beet Ginger Liver Cleanse juice. 🙂
It was AMAZING. I could taste the sweetness from the fresh, organic beetroots and the kick from ginger. I was sold. And the next thing you know, my shopping bag had two bunches of beets roots, couple of organic apples and a few naval oranges..,I always have ginger at home for Masala Ginger Chai. So, ginger was taken care of.
Then I went juicing. I have to admit, before trying it, I was expecting this Beet Ginger Liver Cleanse Juice to be awful but NO. This juice is DELICIOUS. Even my skeptical and super picky kid enjoyed it as well.
So, this Beet Ginger Liver Cleanse Juice has been our Sunday morning ritual for last couple of weeks now.

I’ll have to give this one a try. To be honest, I don’t like the taste of beetroot. However, I know they’re one of the best things you can eat. That’s why I add a huge chunk of ginger with our juicings – to help cover up the taste of the beetroot.
Funny story for you. I don’t know if I told you that I’m a weightlifter. I deadlifted 315 pounds while not even weighing 150 pounds before.
Anyways, I juice an hour before the workout. Supposedly, beetroots are great for your blood before you go to workout. So yes, they cleanse your liver but also help get your blood flowing before you do a heavy workout!
